A Quiet Place Screening @ Paramount
Last week my fiancè and I went to Paramount for a special screening of A Quiet Place hosted by the MPSE (Motion Picture Editors Guild). Neither of us have seen the film before, but we had always wanted to see it in a theater setting.
The film was extraordinary, although very frightening! There's so much storytelling happening in a film with the smallest amount of dialog I've ever witnessed. It really pushed the limits of creative sound design with the ambiences, the different settings the audience is placed in and especially the alien creatures.
